I’m Morgan, the owner of this beautiful company and I’m so grateful you all are on this journey with me! My husband and I met in high school and have been married now for nine years and counting. God has blessed us with two incredible daughters (9 & 3) that keep us on our toes daily! (Yep, that’s the 4 of us in the logo!) And yes, if you hear little ones in the background of calls that’s most likely them! 

 

My parents (Scott & Rita) met while they both worked at Waste Management and many years later in 2003 started Town & Country Garbage. Although I have been around the trash industry literally my whole life, this never was where I saw myself career-wise. As a little girl, I wanted to grow up and be a teacher, but life clearly had other plans and now as a grown-up, I can’t see myself in any other world. My amazing mother unfortunately lost her battle with cancer May of 2019 and the company was sold by my aunt and oldest sister in January of 2020. (There’s way more to that story, but I’ll just leave that alone for now.) I was 8 months pregnant with #2 at that time and already juggling a crazy life, but I knew it was a now or never moment for us and within the following two weeks Heritage Waste Solutions was created and ready to roll (literally & figuratively)! 

 

Even though I had many years of running Town & Country, very few things in my life prepared me for starting a company on my own. I am so incredibly thankful for the people in my corner who held my hand, had my back, and lifted me in prayers and encouragement during those weeks and still to this day. I have also been so overwhelmingly lucky to have such loyal customers and employees who took this leap with us and what a fun ride it’s been so far! You all are seriously the best and make this all so worth it!
